I think all the reviews and preseason rankings are over hyping our back court a little bit too much. I would rather want our team to be an underdog than a paper tiger.

Agreed, but OJ is a pretty formidable force. I think next year is when they can start talking about the Gauchos having one of the top backcourts in the west. However, with OJ and Nunnally, we definitely have one of the best one-two punches in the country already.

Yea of course, I don't mean to belittle OJ and Nunnally. I know they are legit, but I would rather like it if they play bellow the radar. I think Powell's absence this year will have a negative effect on our back court unless we landed a good replacement in the new guards that just came in. Some one has to carry the load if either OJ or Nunn have an off day.

Absolutely agreed. What's interesting is that Nunnally will at times play the 2 as well as the 4, so a backcourt of OJ and Nunnally will be pretty dominating, I would hope.

BTW, also very much agreed on Powell. His perimeter shot and clutch free throw shooting at the end of games will be missed, and one of the two freshmen will have to step it up.
