He looks pretty heavy here. I think he's going to need to be in better shape for the college game. The highlights didn't show much about his game but the few clips I saw weren't all that impressive, when I think of playing at the next level
He did say he needed to lose 10 pounds. 6'7"/6'8" at 255 lbs. doesn't indicate he is totally out of shape. With a more rigorous offseason conditioning program, he should be able to gain more muscle and drop some body fat.
I guess Big Al has more than justified his basketball scholarship. Not just his numbers, but his ability to elevate his teammates' play. He's a winner and will surely end up on any all-freshman teams.

ReplyDeleteThe interviewer look to be around 6'9" if Williams is 6'8".
