Gauchos beat UCLA 2 - 0 in men's soccer
This is a Gaucho hoops site, but 15,896 Gaucholocos were out in full force last night at Harder Stadium, setting soccer attendance records. Many more fans were reportedly turned away at the gate.
The best news is that the Gauchos avenged last season's loss to UCLA in the NCAA playoffs, beating the Bruins 2 - 0 on goals by freshman forward David Opoku and junior midfielder Danny Barrera.

This is the kind of Gaucholoco support that will put the thunder back in the Thunderdome when basketball season rolls around. Minus the flying tortillas, of course.
